Nicholas Baker
BDS(Dundee), MJDF RCSEng
Mr Baker has had a special interest in Orthodontics for over 25 years.
In that time he has gained vast experience in removable, functional and fixed appliance systems. His career started in 1985. On qualifying from the University of Dundee, he joined the Royal Navy as a dental officer and had reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander by the time he completed his commission in 1991. Upon entering general practice, he soon realised that he had not treated children for some time and so his interest began. He moved into a specialist practice one year later and the rest is history.
Mr Baker is a member of various professional organisations including The British Dental Association, The Faculty of General Dental Practice, The British Orthodontic Society, and The Oral Health Foundation. He completed work on an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick in 2019 and is an accredited Invisalign® provider
A true family man, he is a long suffering father of 4 children who ensure that spare time is only a thing of dreams! His caring, informal, welcoming and talkative(!) style has been appreciated by lots of apprehensive patients and he takes a special joy from helping young people to achieve the smiles they deserve. It has been said of Mr Baker that he always has time for people and he likes to spend time ensuring their treatment needs are fulfilled.

Nimo Rostami
DDS, MFDS RCS(England) MSc(London) MOrth RCS(Edin)
Nimo completed his DDS (Doctorate in Dental Surgery) at the National Medical and Dental University of Tehran in 1994 passing his final thesis with honours. He then went on to Lyon, France to engage in a post graduate program where he obtained a Certificate in Dental Materials from the Claude Bernard University (Lyon 1). He then worked in Heidelberg, Germany as a dental officer at the Ramstein US Military Airbase. Later he moved to the UK, where he worked at several hospitals across the Country in maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics before passing his MFDS (Membership in Faculty of Dental Surgery) exam at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He then enrolled in a 3-year specialist orthodontics program at The Royal London Dental Institute graduating in June 2003. He successfully passed his MOrth (Membership in Orthodontics) exam at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and obtained his MSc in orthodontics from the Queen Margaret University of London. Nimo is on the Specialist List of General Dental Council as Specialist Orthodontist.
Nimo’s clinical interest is adult orthodontics. He has extensive experience in treating adult patients using aesthetic orthodontic appliances including see-through braces, Invisalign aligners and invisible lingual braces. He is a certified Invisalign provider, a member of the British Lingual Orthodontic society (BLOS) and has treated a vast number of patients using Invisalign and invisible lingual appliances. He is a keen skier. However, his children take most of his spare time.
